L’Atelier is a French word for ‘the Workshop’. You may have heard of Pete Johnson? If not, he is the name and master-blender half responsible for making Tatuaje Cigars.
In 2012 Johnson joined forces with his brother and a few other cigar smoking buddies to launch the L’Atelier Imports Cigars brand. L’Atelier is a worthy addition to every humidor. These cigars are hand-crafted in the Garcia Family factory in Nicaragua, with a mix of flavour-filled Nicaraguan tobacco leaves, Oliva-grown Ecuadorian leaf cap and a beautiful rare leaf wrapper known as ‘Sancti Spiritus’, which is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro tobacco leaves to delivers the most delicious of flavours.
If it’s a medium to full body cigar with meaty and earthy notes and hints of spice, dried fruit and a long lasting finish you are looking for, the L’Atelier cigars (with a pig -tail cap too) are for you.
