Punch Cigars were first created for the British market in 1840 by Don Manual Lopez and is one of the oldest Cuban cigar brands (Habanos). It is said that the name comes from ‘Mr Punch’, a European puppet show character, but there is an argument that the main inspiration for the name came from a well known and famous comedy magazine, loved and read by the Brits at that time.
Punch Cigars are premium quality, medium bodied cigars that deliver flavours of wood and fruit. They are sticks you will find in the humidors of most cigar connoisseurs. The great thing is, they can be enjoyed by lovers of the leaf at all stages of their cigar smoking journey.
Punch Cigars are available in a broad range of shapes, sizes and wrapper colours and there is one to suit every smoking style and budget. If you are venturing toward Punch for the first time then you cannot go past the 5 ⅝” x 46rg Punch Punch or the Punch Punch 48 at 5 ½ " x 48rg.
