Sencillo, pronounced ‘Sen-See-Yoh’ is a spanish word that means ‘easy’. But there is nothing easy about producing beautifully hand-rolled Sencillo Cigars. It’s a cigar brand that rose from the house of Prometheus and God of Fire Cigars. Every Sencillo Cigar is handcrafted in either Honduras or Nicaragua. Sencillo Black is made in Nicaragua by Palencia cigars and Sencillo Platinum is made in the Davidoff factory in Honduras. The Sencillo Cigars are available in a range of shapes and sizes.
Sencillo Platinum was the first release of the Sencillo brand and is a ‘puro’, meaning these cigars are made entirely from tobacco grown from Honduras. The Platinum blend comprises a wrapper, filler and binder made of Habano de Jamastran tobacco with a tobacco called Piloto Cubano that is added to the filler to balance out the flavour. These cigars are rich and spicy with notes of cinnamon and a hint of sweetness to balance out the spice are great for medium to full bodied cigar lovers. Crowd favourites from the Sencillo Platinum cigar range include the Sencillo Platinum Short Churchill at 6.2” x 48rg, the Sencillo Platinum Piramide at 6” x 54rg and the - 5.2" x 50rg Sencillo Platinum Robusto
Sencillo Black Cigars are handmade by Plasencia Cigars using five different tobaccos. This gives the cigars a consistent and balanced flavour, one that is distinctive to the SencilloPlatinums. The Sencillo cigar company themselves state, ‘If Sencillo Platinum is the cabernet of the line, Sencillo Black is the pinot noir.’ Whether you choose a Sencillo Black Short Churchill, a Sencillo Black Robusto or the Sencillo Black No. 4 Piramide, we are sure you will love it down to the last puff.
