Simon Bolivar was a Venezuelan born political figure known as ‘ellibertador’ (the Liberator) who fought for independence to free six South American nations from Spanish rule. It is no surprise that the cuban made cigars bearing his name, Bolivar Cigars, have a reputation for being one of the boldest, strongest and most robust cigars going around. 

First created in 1902, the range of Bolivar cigars were quite vast in numbers but over the years they  have been reduced down. Some of the strong and full-bodied cigars still available are the Bolivar Royal Corona and the Bolivar Petit Coronas.
